Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study centered on teachers’ perception and disposition towards entrepreneurship education as a component of capacity building programe in secondary school.
The research adopted a descriptive survey research design. The total population for the study comprised of fifty secondary school teacher in Ijebu-North local government area of Ogun State and the instrument used for data collected was a questionnaire.
The findings of the study showed that there is no significant difference in male and female perception towards entrepreneurship education as a component of capacity building programme in secondary schools. It revealed that there is significant difference between qualification and their perception towards entrepreneurship education as a component of capacity building programme in secondary schools. The findings also revealed that there is significant difference in teacher’s experience and their disposition towards entrepreneurship education as a component of capacity building programme in secondary schools.
The study therefore recommended that government and private sectors should take it as a matter of urgency to have a clear curriculum of Entrepreneurship education towards skill acquisition at the secondary school.
