Abstract
The study investigated the effect of self regulation and academic procrastination on study habit of undergraduate in Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. The study adopted descriptive research design. Population of the study comprised of the entire undergraduate in Olabisi Onabanjo University main campus. Random sampling techniques was used to select three hundred undergraduate from five faculties that represent the sample size of the study. The instruments used were Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ), Academic Procrastination Scale (APS) and Study Habit Inventory (SHI). The data generated were analysed with the aid of multiple regression analysis on One-way ANOVA. Results showed that there is statistically significance composite effect of self-regulation and academic procrastination on study habits; there is statistically significant relative effect of self-regulation on study habits of undergraduates in Olabisi Onabanjo University. It was also revealed that there is statistically significant relative effect of academic procrastination on study habit of undergraduate in Olabisi Onabanjo University. It was recommended that offering study skills classes with an emphasis on time management skills for students will positively impact student academic achievement
