Abstract
This study investigated the CEO tenure effect and firm innovation of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. The study was anchored on diffusion of innovation theory and disruptive innovation theory. Survey research design was adopted using questionnaire as the prime instrument to generate data. Seventy-six (76) employees were drawn from Cadbury Nigeria Plc. Data generated were analysed using descriptive statistics such as simple percentage and inferential statistics such as Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient Multiple and Regression Analysis. The findings of this study reveals that there was statistical significant effect of decentralization on innovation performance; there was no significant effect of employee involvement on innovation performance.
