Abstract
The study investigate cheating behaviour among Business Education Students in Ogun State. Cheating behaviour is as old as examination itself and there is high rate of cheating behaviour among Business Education Students in Ogun State.
The instrument used in this study was the cheating behaviour scale. The questionnaire consists of 23 items and was administered on 400 students selected from two tertiary institution in Ogun state, Nigeria using stratified sampling techniques in selecting the sample for the study.
The findings of the study revealed that students disagrees that doing another students course-work for them, altering data (e.g. adjusting data to obtain a significant result) and submitting course-work from an outside source were not part of cheating behaviour among undergraduates.
Moral and religious bodies should be used as a strategy to reduce involvement of students and staff on cheating behaviour.
