This study examines the influence of human resources development on organizational productivity. It further determine the extent at which effective human resources development can influence productivity in order to reduce poor performance in organization, the influence of human resources training and development in organizational growth and ascertain the impact of human resources development on organizational growth. The target population for the study comprised on the entire sixty-three (63) staff of Progress Pure Water Limited. Total sampling techniques was adopted in selecting the participant of the study, out of which 40 respondents were available to administer the questionnaire. Descriptive statistics was used to analysed the data collected from the study. Findings of the study revealed that effective human resources development influence productivity in order to reduce poor performance in an organization. It showed that influence of human resources training and development has a result in organizational growth. It was concluded that human resource development has a significant impact on organizational productivity. As a result of the various finding emanating from the study, it was recommended that human resources training and development should be adopted in every business.
