Abstract
This study investigated the motivational factors as the determinant of employees’ productivity using Cadbury Nigeria plc. Three research questions and two hypotheses were raised in the study. This research employed descriptive survey research design using questionnaire as the prime instrument to source for information. The sample size for the study comprised of one hundred and fifty staff of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. The findings revealed that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation has significant influence on employees’ productivity. It also showed that workers who are extrinsically motivated perform better than workers who are intrinsically motivated. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended that management should improve on the management style by guiding the employees through regular staff meetings.
