Abstract
This study investigated university undergraduate student perception of political violence in Nigeria. A descriptive survey research method was adopted for this study. In order to carry out this study, four research questions were asked. A structured questionnaire with 32-items was designed to collect the data. Two hundred and fifty undergraduate students selected from five faculties of Olabisi Onabanjo University were administered with the questionnaire analysed with descriptive statistics of frequency count, simple percentage and inferential of t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Findings from the study revealed that majority of respondents are aware of political violence in Nigeria. The study showed that the respondents perceived causes of political violence as factors causing political violence in the country. It also showed that showed that youth have negative attitude towards political violence. The findings revealed that awareness of the political violence have no significant difference between male and female students. The study therefore recommends that government should provide adequate resources for the teaching and learning of entrepreneurship while seminars should be organize for the teachers in order to keep them updated on the teaching of entrepreneurship education.
