Abstract
This project presents a simple construction of a remote controlled fan regulator which is affordable, reliable and effective remote control which turns ON or OFF and does not have an interface with any other signal it enables the user to control fan regulator from approximately 10meters away.
Electrical fitting controllers like light switches, light dimmers power socket and fan regulators can be controlled by an ordinary flashlight focusing it light beam on the detector.
The remote transmit a beam of visible light and the receiver switches when the signal I received ON and OFFF.
The construction of a simple and sufficiently sensitive light beam detector that can function properly and reliable in all indoors ambient lighting conditions was the main focus of this project. The system is divided into simpler functional blocks, namely transmitter and receiver, details of each subunit are described in this project.
