Abstract
The study investigated the perception of Olabisi Onabanjo University undergraduate students on the Business Administration course contents to foster industrialization. Three research questions were raised and answered in the study. Also two research hypotheses were formulated and tested in this study. The sample of this study comprised one hundred (100) undergraduate Business Administration students selected from 100 – 400 level. Data was collected using research instruments designed and validated by the researcher. The data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistical tool such as frequency count, simple percentage and independent t-test analysis at 0.05 level of significant. The findings of the study showed that students perceive their course contents for the growth of industrialization positively; the course contents prepare students for the global challenges of the current Nigerian economy; there resources needed to enhance the course contents in order to foster industrialization. The resources needed are Library, instructional technology and funding for the teaching and learning of Business Administration. It was concluded that there is no significant difference in overall perception of undergraduate Business Administration students on course contents to foster industrialization. Also, there is statically significant gender difference in the perception of undergraduate Business Administration and Education students on their course contents to foster industrialization. The study recommended that Library and laboratory facilities should be increased in order to improve the learning of Business Administration in order to foster industrilization. Also, a program to improve critical and creative thinking skills should be implemented.
